Five Ways To… …get better if you’re Ferrari

Who could have imagined at the beginning of the season that after such a disastrous run in 2020, the Ferrari Formula 1 team will again be able to fight in the top 3 of the constructors’ championship, and will even have several notable podiums? What’s the secret behind it and how can other outfits learn from the Scuderia?

  Wake up from the nightmare

All the problems began in 2019 with the fraud scandal. SF90S proved to be unusually fast. Red Bull was the first who could not stand aside, they developed several possible variants due to which Scuderia could gain a huge advantage and turned to the FIA for clarification of what is legal and what is not. The FIA immediately responded with new technical regulations, the main idea of which was to prohibit special fuel delivery systems. Immediately after the directives were issued, the Scuderia cars became noticeably slower.
Scuderia finished the season 6th out of 10. This result was the worst for the team over the past 40 years. Their engine was deemed the absolute worst on the grid. So first they needed to start digging themselves out of this situation, which they did, step by step.

  Start dealing with actual problems

The quick return was made more difficult by a new token system to limit customisations that could only be spent on certain parts of the car. And despite the difficulties, Scuderia skillfully used her chance to make the car better. In 2020, Ferrari was experiencing serious air dynamics problems and they’ve decided to use tokens to redesign the gearbox. It’s an ingenious move, with the gearbox also allowed to redesign the body parts around it at the rear of the car. It allowed to minimise drag and increase downforce on the rear ring. This shows the immense skill in both management and design of a Formula 1 operation.

  Modernise

What were the modifications? On the one hand, they were aimed at reducing the longitudinal dimensions of the box, which was very important from the point of view of aerodynamics. But perhaps a more important decision was to raise the differential. On the SF21, it is about 30 mm higher than it was before. It would seem that such a change would hardly affect the efficiency of the chassis. Moreover, because of this, the centre of gravity shifted upward, which is definitely not a positive result. However, the benefits were undoubtedly greater. The fact is that the space under the box has been freed up, where air flows towards the diffuser. This added downforce to the rear of the chassis, which Ferrari sorely lacked in the 2020 season. Now it was possible to use a less “loaded” rear wing, which added speed on the straights – this component was the weak point of the SF1000.

2021 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix highlights

Introduction

2021 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix was won by Max Verstappen with Lewis Hamilton finishing in second place, and Red Bull gaining ground on Mercedes thanks to Perez’s podium finish – and the championship leader extending his lead to 12 points.

From second on the grid, Hamilton enjoyed a stellar start off the line as the lights went out in Austin, and despite Verstappen squeezing him as far as possible down the inside to the run-up to Turn 1, the Briton gained P1 from the Dutchman to lead going into the esses. Perez, starting third, followed and began to lose hundredths, then tenths, to the leaders.

Red Bull championship hopeful Verstappen opened the pit window on Lap 11, pitting from medium tyres to hards, while Mercedes’ reigning champion Hamilton followed in on Lap 14 only to emerge second behind the under-cutting Red Bull driver. But there was another pit stop to come under the scorching Texas sun.

Riding and managing motorcycles come with all sorts of challenges, whether you’re riding the naked motorcycle, chopper, or cruiser bike. That’s why we asked the well-versed bikers for advice and came up with the top eight essential motorcycle life hacks, just for our readers.

Turn Trash Bags Into An Emergency Rain Gear

If you find yourself in a situation where you don’t have proper rain gear and you don’t want to get soaked, you can improvise with trash bags. Simply tear the holes for your head and arms and turn an ordinary trash bag into a windproof and rainproof jacket, which will not only protect you from the rain but also preserve your body temperature. It may look ridiculous to other people, but believe us, you’ll be grateful to have it on you.

Support The Kickstand

There is a simple fix to stop your bike from falling over and prevent potential damage. You can use any item to give the stand more stability, such as crushed pop can or plastic jar lid, to name a few. This will prevent the kickstand from sinking into the ground and distribute the weight evenly.

Useful facts you should know about betting on motorsports

Nowadays, people are betting on all sorts of sports in their free time because there are loads of online bookmakers to choose from. The majority of bettors decide to wager on popular options, such as football. Besides soccer, sports fans also punt on basketball, baseball, tennis, and loads of other sports.

All of the options mentioned above are notorious for their betting markets and good odds, but this doesn’t mean there aren’t any other options that are worth it. Some of the things that are slowly becoming the go-to option for many bettors are called motorsports. They offer loads of opportunities, as long as you know how to take advantage of them. Let’s take a look at a few intriguing facts about how to wager on this sport.

Some online bookies have special motorsports subsections, whereas others divide them into individual sports

One of the first things we’d like to point out is that the term “motorsports” is used to describe all kinds of sports that include some sort of motorized vehicle. Some iGaming websites know that, which is why they also use it on their platforms. However, you can come across many sports betting sites that decided to separate the different motorsports. If you are unsure how to wager on any of them, sites like betenemy.com explain more about betting on motorsports, which means you can learn everything about things, such as F1, touring car racing, motorcycle racing, and so on. What’s even more impressive is that this site has detailed reviews about online bookies that offer the best markets and odds for motorsports.

Which motorsports betting markets provide customers with really good odds?

If you want to try out something different while wagering online, don’t forget to test the different motorsports. Even though not every iGaming operator will allow you to bet on these kinds of sports, most companies have started implementing them in their sections. As a result, even people who don’t watch F1, Moto GP, or other popular motorsports decided to put them to the test.

One of the things that you should keep in mind about the different motorsports is that you may not have the chance to use that many markets. Most iGaming operators will provide you with a handful of options, some of which are really good. With that being said, here are some of the options that are known for having excellent odds.

Winning Car

The first and also the most popular motorsports betting market that you will have the option to use is called Winning Car. Depending on which iGaming operator you go to, this market might have a different name. Speaking of operators, you can check out Nostrabet, where there are motorsports betting sites offering really good odds for most motorsports. Since these things are not as popular as the usual go-to options yet, the odds for some markets are higher than usual.

Which are the pros and cons of wagering on motorsports?

Wagering on motorsports may not be as popular as betting on football and basketball, but this doesn’t mean it is not worth it. Every sport is unique, and those that require a car, motorcycle, or another type of motorized vehicle are no exception. That’s one of the reasons why you can come across different kinds of motorsports while wagering online.

Like every other thing you want to bet on, motorsports have their pros and cons. Even though the advantages definitely outweigh the negatives, there are several things users should keep in mind while wagering on this sport, so let’s check some of them.

Pros

One of the advantages of punting on motorsports is the fact that you can find multiple online bookmakers that will give you access to them. If you are having trouble finding an IGaming operator, you can check these Motorsports betting sites by Efirbet, and you will see that they have all the necessary markets, features, and other types of things. Finding a solid online bookmaker is one of the first things that you have to do, so make sure to check each operator individually.

While it is true that betting on every sport has its risks, if we take a look at the statistics, motorsports are usually easier to predict. The people that are considered to be among the favourites often win the races, which is why punters bet on them. In fact, some iGaming operators offer unique markets that exclude some of the potential winners.

Three popular promotions you can use once you start wagering on motorsports

Even though most motorsports may not allow you to use that many betting markets, they make up for it by offering other types of things. Besides the potential features and lucrative odds you might have access to, some iGaming operators also have various promotions.

Since gambling bonuses play an essential role in the iGaming industry, users shouldn’t be surprised when they get the chance to put numerous offers to the test. Pointing out all of them is almost impossible, and frankly, not every reward can be used while wagering on motorsports. Yet, a few proposals stand out, so let’s check them out.

No deposit bonuses for motorsports

The first thing we want to point out in this article is a reward that everyone likes. Whether you are interested in motorsports, eSports, badminton, floorball, or something else, you will probably want to try out a no deposit bonus because, usually, this reward can be used for free. Although some of you probably haven’t seen them, online bettors who open Silentbet will see that there are different no deposit bonuses for motorsports events. The majority of them only require users to open an account on the given platform, and they can receive the offer right away. However, you may find different online bookmakers with a few extra requirements you must complete before using the no deposit offers.

Formula One and film industry – the two worth-watching documentaries about motorsports

Are you planning to spend your evening after the tough working day watching a touching film? Or do you rather prefer playing online games? Or, maybe, you are fond of betting on some sports matches – anyway, if it is your case, be ready to explore betting options at https://tonybet.com/en/prematch/baseball – one of the world’s largest online sports betting platforms.

Motorsport is a different art of sports compared to baseball, basketball, hockey, or even cybersport because it involves motorized vehicles. There is a special beauty, dynamic, technical aesthetic about these competitions. A magnificent unity of racers, and their cars – what could be more fascinating, than that? That’s why there are many films devoted to motorsports, and especially Formula One. Let’s take a deeper look at the two documentaries about the Golden Age of Formula One – the years between the 1950-s and 1994.

“1: LIFE ON THE LIMIT” (2013) – A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX RACES

This American documentary with Michael Fassbender shows the fascination, speed, danger, and excitement of Formula One racing. The film traces the history of Formula One from its early years to the 1994 death of one of legendary Brazilian racer Senna. It was the Golden Age of Formula One when motorsport was terrifyingly dangerous.

In the late 1960s, Formula One cars doubled their engine displacement and grew wings, making them not only incredibly fast but even more dangerous. With the arrival of big money from sponsors and a new international television audience, star pilots were born. The film follows the story of racers who struggled on the brink and those who rose up to change the sport forever.

“SENNA” (2010) – A FASCINATING STORY ABOUT FORMULA ONE DRIVER AYRTON SENNA

This film is the story about the life and tragic death of the legendary Brazilian Formula One driver Ayrton Senna. In the mid-80s he burst into the world of Formula 1. The film tells the story of his constant struggle on the track with the French world champion Alain Prost, and the struggle off the track against the politics waged by the sports federation. So, his way to glory and success was very difficult. He was also a great personality – he was a patriot of his country and donated millions of dollars to charity. His death was tragic – in his last race, Senna crashed into a wall and died in front of 300 million people.

New York City is a new stop for Red Bull Racing

2011 title-winning car hits Wall Street and New York City landmarks before Miami GP in 2022. Red Bull Racing Honda delivered the 2011 title-winning RB7 car to New York City in early October to give fans a taste of what they can expect when the F1 roadshow travels to Florida for the Miami Grand Prix in 2022.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez will travel to The Magic City in the first week of May next year to race around the Miami International Autodrome, which has been constructed specially for the maiden event.

(function($){ $(window).on("resize", function(){ var sid = "49"; var object = $(".bsaProContainer-" + sid + " .bsaProItemInner__img"); var animateThumb = $(".bsaProContainer-" + sid + " .bsaProAnimateThumb"); var innerThumb = $(".bsaProContainer-" + sid + " .bsaProItemInner__thumb"); var parentWidth = "728"; var parentHeight = "90"; var objectWidth = object.width(); if ( objectWidth < parentWidth ) { var scale = objectWidth / parentWidth; if ( objectWidth > 0 && objectWidth != 100 && scale > 0 ) { animateThumb.height(parentHeight * scale); innerThumb.height(parentHeight * scale); object.height(parentHeight * scale); } else { animateThumb.height(parentHeight); innerThumb.height(parentHeight); object.height(parentHeight); } } else { animateThumb.height(parentHeight); innerThumb.height(parentHeight); object.height(parentHeight); } }); $(document).ready(function(){ $(".bsaProItemInner__img").trigger("resize"); }); })(jQuery);

Further north on the Eastern Seaboard, people milling around Manhattan in the Big Apple were able to see the RB7 in full flow this month as it sped down the long straights that border the Hudson River.

Light rain peppered the track well before the race and while the rain stopped, conditions called for intermediate tyres throughout.

Bottas led the race away from the pole, his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton having started 11th thanks to his 10-place engine-related penalty, while Verstappen followed the Finn. By Lap 11, Hamilton was up into the top five having passed Pierre Gasly. The defending champion would be promoted to fourth when Sergio Perez pitted on Lap 38.
