The TTT traveling race tour led by Promoter/Race Director Jere Humphrey pulled into Caribou Saturday to race on an approximately 1/3-mile course carved by volunteers directly behind the Northern Maine Brewing Company. The pit area rapidly filled up with racers and their support teams. Since this was the final points race for the 2022 season many teams made the trek to central Aroostook County.
Around $6500 raised at the Mega-Meltdown Vintage, Trail, and Kids Endurance Races will benefit Brian’s Ride. This 501C3 organization has raised over $130,000 and helped 250 cancer patients of the Jefferson Cary Cancer Center, Caribou, Maine.
Brian Caldwell for whom the fund was named died on May 22, 2014 after a nine-month battle with Stage 4 Gastric Cancer. His friends and family wanted to honor his memory by developing Brian’s Ride to aid and assist cancer patients with needs such as prescription costs, bags of groceries, gas for an appointment, and more.

Several racing celebrities were on hand to support the races in Caribou including NASCAR star Andy Santerre third from left joining Caribou Tech Center Welding Instructor Keith Dumond far left with Pam Caldwell organizer of Brian’s Ride, and fellow organizer Tammy Dumond on right.
