Palantir and Ferrari renew their partnership

Ferrari is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Palantir Technologies, a world leader in the development of analytics platforms working with complex and sensitive data. Palantir now becomes a Scuderia Ferrari Team Partner.

As a result of this new agreement, Scuderia Ferrari will be able to count on the latest generation of the Palantir Foundry platform, which can analyse data from various sources even faster than before.

About Palantir

Palantir Technologies is a public American software company that specializes in big data analytics. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, it was founded by Peter Thiel, Nathan Gettings, Joe Lonsdale, Stephen Cohen, and Alex Karp in 2003. The company’s name is derived from The Lord of the Rings where the magical palantíri were “seeing-stones,” described as indestructible balls of crystal used for communication and to see events in other parts of the world.

In 2004, when Palantir looked at the available technology, we saw products that were too rigid to handle novel problems, and custom systems that took too long to deploy and required too many services to maintain and improve. They saw automated approaches that failed against adaptive adversaries, and all-or-nothing access controls that forced organizations to make unacceptable trade-offs between collaborating and securing sensitive data from misuse.

The company saw a need for a different kind of technology, and we knew it would take a different kind of company to build it. That’s how Palantir was launched.
