TUMI has been the Official Luggage Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team and McLaren Automotive since 2019 and has provided both brands with premium luggage, backpacks and accessories that are built to last. The partnership expansion will further unify McLaren’s diverse virtual and physical racing portfolio and amplify the two brands’ shared passion for innovation, craft and precision.
As part of the partnership expansion, in collaboration with NEOM McLaren Extreme E, an Extreme capsule collection will be launched in March 2024. The capsule will feature sleek bags designed to suit both the everyday traveller as well as the needs of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team as they travel to remote locations around the globe.
The TUMI | McLaren Extreme capsule will include three new waterproof and lightweight products: the Terrain Backpack, Throttle Duffel and Rally Sling, all with pops of McLaren’s signature colour scheme. Each item in the collection can be packed flat and arrives in a vacuum-sealed reusable compression bag in an effort to minimise environmental impact.
McLaren Racing and TUMI will release details of the expanded product range with the McLaren Shadow Esports Team in the near future.
Louise McEwen, Executive Director, Brand & Marketing, McLaren Racing, said:
We are delighted to expand our partnership with TUMI, built on a genuine passion for craft and high attention to detail, and can’t wait for our fans to see these two exciting new ranges as we expand into our Extreme E and esports series.
Jill Krizelman, SVP E-commerce and Global Marketing, TUMI, said:
