The DBS 770 Ultimate is a forceful parting shot, as its name would imply. Extensive design and engineering improvements guarantee the Super GT flagship is an unforgettable and extremely collectable commemoration of Aston Martin’s flagship Super GT. It is the quickest and most powerful DBS to date. The DBS770 Ultimate, which comes in Coupe and Volante versions, will only be produced in 300 Coupes and 199 Volantes, all of which have already been pre-ordered.

An aggressive version of Aston Martin’s quad-cam 60-deg 5.2-litre V12 engine powers the DBS 770 Ultimate. This fantastic engine gains from redesigned air and ignition routes along with a 7% increase in maximum turbo boost pressure to produce 770PS at 6500rpm and a monstrous 900Nm of torque from just 1800rpm to 5000rpm, pushing the DBS 770 Ultimate to a top speed of 211mph. With an addictive blend of remarkable response, great in-gear acceleration, and the genuine V12 symphony, precisely tuned power and torque curves offer the driver a sense of limitless potential.

A mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (LSD) situated at the back of the vehicle and an automatic transmission with eight speeds made by ZF are used to transfer power. A special transmission calibration is also added to the DBS 770 Ultimate to improve shift times and driver participation and create a more connected driving experience. The supercar utilises the same 410mm x 38mm front discs and 360mm x 32mm rear discs as those installed on the DBS due to the inherent potential of Aston Martin’s Carbon Ceramic Braking (CCB) system.

The DBS 770 Ultimate introduces a new solid-mounted steering column to enhance the directness of the steering response further and increase the level of detailed feedback, enabling the driver to enjoy a more precise connection with the road ahead, feel what the front tyres are doing with the utmost confidence, and accurately gauge available grip.

The front end’s lateral stiffness has been increased by 25% to provide the DBS 770 Ultimate with the engaging personality and enhanced steering feel it is known for. This improvement was made possible by a larger rear undertray and an improved front cross member, resulting in a 3% increase in overall torsional rigidity for flawlessly balanced driving characteristics.

The Adaptive Damping System (ADS) has also been improved. The DBS 770 Ultimate now has a custom damper calibration and software tune that emphasizes control and calmness without sacrificing ride quality. The DBS 770 Ultimate takes Aston Martin’s already outstanding Super GT to new heights by improving driver connection while retaining the DBS’ unmistakable ability to cover continents.

A final edition model made to mark the end of an era, the DBS 770 Ultimate has been mechanically refined and amplified in look to present a forceful design and unmistakably distinctive style.

This improved version needed to perform at a real-world level to qualify as an Aston Martin. To improve thermal management, enhance airflow to the radiators, and improve road visibility. The clamshell bonnet has a striking “horse-shoe” engine vent, and a redesigned front splitter incorporates two new outboard vents to draw more air through the engine radiators. Together, they improve cooling and replicate the distinctive design elements of earlier DBS and V12 engine models.

Additional fine-tuned design improvements for the DBS 770 Ultimate include a standard 2×2 Twill Carbon Fibre Cantrail, Windscreen Surround, Mirror Caps, and Fender Louvre. A new carbon fibre sill section visibly reduces the side profile towards the back wheel, giving the DBS a composed posture and highlighting its chiselled frame. The DBS 770 Ultimate is as recognisable from the rear as it is from the front, thanks to a distinctive rear diffuser design that keeps aerodynamic balance from the front to the back.

The 21″ wheel type, which is fresh and distinctive and is offered in three finishes, further distinguishes the DBS 770 Ultimate. This new 21″ multi-spoke design, which draws inspiration from the powerful Aston Martin Valkyrie and Victor, is offered in full satin silver for a bright jewellery appearance, full satin black for a modern, sporty appearance, or optional satin black with diamond turned to finish for a darker, yet the sophisticated appearance of the car. All rims include Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires (265/35 R21 up front and 305/30 R21 back).

The DBS 770 Ultimate’s inside is dazzling with various innovative design elements that distinguish it from the competition while maintaining the current DBS’s instantly recognizable cabin environment. As a sign of its halo position, the DBS 770 Ultimate includes Sports Plus Seats fully covered in semi-aniline leather and Alcantara and have a typical “fluted” patchwork and perforation pattern. Another option is the performance seat from Aston Martin. A custom strap and buckle emblem with the laser-etched DBS 770 Ultimate logo on the centre armrest has been added, along with a unique trim split with contrast colours linked to the welt and stitching included as standard are carbon fibre gearshift paddles.

Last, the car has a special pair of sill plaques that display the Aston Martin Wings, the DBS 770 Ultimate emblem, and Limited-Edition numbers designating the car as one of only 300 Coupes or 199 Volantes.

Like all Aston Martins, the potential for unique, personal customization is practically endless. The DBS 770 Ultimate offers a wide variety of Q by Aston Martin bespoke options, such as Q liveries with various graphic options, painted wheels to match body or graphics colours, tinted carbon fibre and woven leather seat inserts, trim inlays, carbon fibre steering wheel.

When referring to the DSB 770 Ultimate, Aston Martin Chief Technology Officer Roberto Fedeli said, “It is necessary to celebrate the moment with something unique when a legendary model generation reaches the end of manufacturing. The DBS 770 Ultimate is our current series production flagship, and we have spared no expense to ensure the finished product is the best in every way. Thanks to numerous upgrades to the transmission, steering, suspension, and underbody construction, it is the fastest and most powerful DBS in our history and the greatest to drive.

The Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, Marek Reichman, continues, “DBS has always been the top of the Aston Martin production model line-up. And now, we’re giving this model even more power and performance purity while enhancing its refinement, taste, and thoughtfulness. It’s almost frightening to look at something so beautiful and primal simultaneously. Starting with the boosted front end, we developed the shapes using this design strategy, and everything else flowed in design harmony with the performance enhancements.

The DBS 770 Ultimate will be produced in Q1 2023, and initial deliveries will start in Q3 2023.
